Using Jess as my inspiration, I thought it would be fun to start a blog as Duane and I prepare for the arrival of 'Ticker'.
We are 38 weeks today and have had a wonderfully uneventful pregnancy so far.
Aunt Lottie and Granny (to be) hosted the most gorgeous baby shower a couple of weeks ago and it successfully satisfied the immense sweet tooth I have developed in the last trimester. It's crazy, I would never eat chocolate and now I crave it by the block...family block that is!!!!
All this amazing food coupled with so many friends and family, it was the perfect afternoon and I felt thoroughly spoilt!
Not to mention the amazing gifts we received. Jess handmade Ticker a blanket and little dinosaur, Anna handmade a gorgeous teddy bear that I dare say may have to be put out of reach of Ticker until they can appreciate it and too many other lovely little things to mention, some of which Millie took fancy to.
Must get organised and finish the ironing and cleaning the house before Duane gets home.
Oh and I think I fancy some gingerbread...hmmm
